ODM · Taichung, Taiwan
Taiwan ODM manufacturer of gas appliances and precision sheet metal parts
We take outdoor gas appliances from concept through tooling, certification testing and pilot runs to packed finished goods. The same plant also quotes drawing-based stamping, laser cutting and bending for factory buyers.
Two ways to work with us
Which one describes your project?
ODM buyers and parts buyers need completely different information. Pick the path that matches where you are.
ODM & Co-Development
For brand owners, importers and OEM/ODM customers.
You have a concept, a sketch, or an existing product you want re-sourced. You need one supplier to carry it through design, tooling, certification testing and assembly, and to ship a packed unit.
ODM Solutions ›Manufacturing Services
For factory procurement, engineers and trading companies.
You have drawings. You need a plant that can hold your tolerances on your material and thickness, at your volume, and quote against a defined spec.
Manufacturing Services ›Not sure which?
If you have a product idea but no drawings, start with ODM. If you have a STEP or DWG file, start with Manufacturing Services.
Both routes are handled by the same engineering team in the same plant.

YBT, registered as YUARN BAAU TAIH ENTERPRISE CORPORATION (business registration 89826223), is a Taiwanese ODM manufacturer founded in 1980 that takes outdoor gas appliances from concept to finished goods. The 6,300 m² plant in Tanzi District, Taichung employs 30 to 40 people and runs its own stamping, laser cutting, bending, welding and assembly lines. It has developed gas patio heaters and commercial gas and charcoal grills in house since 1989, and exports to Europe, North America, Central and South America, Australasia and Asia-Pacific. Its patio heaters hold CE certification under Regulation (EU) 2016/426 (Intertek Italia, Notified Body 2575) and a cETLus listing to CSA/ANSI Z83.26 for North America. Two things separate an ODM supplier from a parts vendor: the ability to carry a product through design, tooling, certification testing and pilot runs, and the ability to ship an assembled, packed unit rather than a carton of components. YBT is set up for both. The same equipment also quotes drawing-based sheet metal work for factory buyers who need stamped, laser cut or bent parts instead of a complete product. Quality management has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV NORD since 2017.
ODM
How does an ODM project run from concept to mass production?
Six stages, each with a named deliverable so you always know what you are approving.
Requirement review and feasibility
We review your concept, target market, target cost and required certifications, then confirm what is manufacturable in metal. We give you: feasibility summary and open-issue list.
Concept and engineering design
3D model, material selection, gas component sourcing and design-for-manufacture review. We give you: 3D data and draft BOM. Design work is quoted separately when YBT draws the product; most projects start from customer drawings.
Tooling and prototyping
Stamping dies and fixtures are made in house by YBT’s own toolmakers, followed by a functional prototype. Tooling paid for by the customer belongs to the customer. Samples are charged per run and work starts once the quotation is signed. We give you: prototype unit and dimensional report.
Certification testing
Submission to an accredited body for your target market. YBT already holds CE (Regulation (EU) 2016/426, Module D) and cETLus (CSA/ANSI Z83.26) certification on its own patio heaters, so the test route is known. We give you: test report and certificate.
Pilot run
Small-batch production on the real line to validate cycle time, yield and assembly instructions. We give you: pilot units and yield data.
Mass production and finished-goods delivery
Assembly, packaging and shipment as a complete unit. Finished appliances ship 45 to 60 working days after order confirmation, depending on quantity. We give you: packed goods and inspection records.
How long does the whole route take? A complete new appliance, from first concept through testing and certification to mass production, averages about two years. A tooled component needs at least 45 working days to first production; a part that needs no new tooling can be in production within a week.
Manufacturing services
Which process do you need quoted?
Eight processes quoted as one job, so a part that needs cutting, forming, finishing and assembly is not split between three vendors.
Sheet Metal Stamping
Progressive and single-hit stamping on 15 presses, 25 to 160 t mechanical and 265 t hydraulic. Dies made in house.
Stamping tolerances ›Sheet Metal Laser Cutting
TRUMPF TruLaser 1040 fiber. Structural steel to 30 mm, stainless to 40 mm, aluminium to 30 mm, accuracy ±0.1 mm.
Thickness range ›Sheet Metal Bending
Seven CNC press brakes, TRUMPF TruBend 5170 and 3066 plus SafanDarley, bend lengths to 2.5 m.
Bending capacity ›Perforated Sheet
Perforated panels for burner covers, guards and ventilation on TRUMPF TruPunch 5000 and 1000.
Perforation options ›Precision Sheet Metal Components
Stamped features held to ±0.05 mm, laser-cut profiles to ±0.1 mm.
Tolerance capability ›Sheet Metal Fabrication
Multi-process fabrication from raw material to sub-assembly, about 5,000 assemblies a month.
Fabrication scope ›Server Chassis Manufacturing
Rack cases and chassis for server and data-centre equipment, built to customer drawings.
Chassis capability ›Surface Treatment & Assembly
Polishing, powder coating, liquid paint and plating, then assembly through to packed finished unit.

How is quality controlled before shipment?
YBT has held ISO 9001:2015 certification from TÜV NORD Taiwan since June 2017 (certificate 66 100 172733, current cycle valid to June 2029, scope: manufacturing of gas heaters, electric heaters and barbecue grills). Its patio heaters carry CE certification under Regulation (EU) 2016/426 with production surveillance by Intertek Italia (Notified Body 2575), and a cETLus listing to CSA/ANSI Z83.26 and CSA 2.37 for North America. In-house inspection covers salt spray testing on coated parts, coating thickness, surface roughness and gas-tightness testing on appliances. Responsibility for a quality issue is settled by its cause: a defect caused in production is YBT’s to correct, a defect caused by the design is the customer’s. For gas appliances, the applicable market certification is obtained through an accredited body before mass production begins rather than after, so the certificate is available when your first container ships.
